Purpose
Alarm controller PS-1 is wall mounted multichannel controller which operate in conjunction with up to eight gas transmitter DG-1 to detect the presence of flammable gases and vapours in air or other transmitters with output analog signal from 4 to 20 mA, and digital indication at LCD of measuring meaning, light alarm and relay output at the exceeding of fixed thresholds. |

The description
The controller has provides:
- digital indication of measuring meaning in mA or % of lower explosion level (LEL) for detecting flammable gases and vapours concentration;
- two threshold of alarm action;
- the possibility to fix threshold of alarm action Threshold 1 and Threshold 2 for each channel of measuring;
- light alarm indication;
- relay outputs when measuring meaning exceeds the thresholds for each channel of measuring;
- operation and calibration of PS-1 bу the display menu.
The access to function of the display menu are carried out using the special electromagnetic key.
PS-1 can be connected to outer equipments using the interface RS485.
The controller is powered from 24 V dc supply.
On base of this controller, gas transmitters DG-1 and the transmitters of toxic gas concentration in air, for example, Polytron 2 XP Tox (Drager Safety AG & Co. KGaA, Germany) the flammable and toxic gas detection systems can be created.
