We make sensor controls of two types: thermocatalytic and semiconductor.

Thermocatalytic sensors.

Thermocatalytic method of detecting continues to stay the main one for the monitoring of flammable gases and vapours concentration in air.

The catalytic oxidizing of molecules of detecting substances on the surface of sensitive elements is applied in it base. The formed heat is transformed in electric signal. The meaning of output signal of the sensor is defined by the gas concentration (summery concentration of all flammable gases and vapours in air), measuring in percents from lower explosion level (LEL).

Our enterprise have the own technology of making of pellistor thermocatalytic sensors. At this moment we produce serially the next types of sensors, different each from other by construction and technical data.




Semiconductor sensors.

The sensitive element consists of noble metal wire coil covered with a semiconductor n-type oxide layer 30-100 m thick. The wire acts both as a heater and as a measuring electrode. The OESS operation is based on shunting the resistance of the metal wire heater with the semiconductor layer which changes its conductivity of the analyte gas.

The operation principle of this sensors enables to increase considerably both a long time stability and repeatability sensors features. The modifiing of semiconductor composition are to change sensor sensivity in detection one or another analyte gases.
